This week (so far) has been for:

sunscreen, seafood, eavesdropping on the beach (if this was a sport, we’d be world champions), exercising exactly 1.5 times, family tantrums, friends visiting from Boston, trying desperately to avoid Olympics spoilers, crossing my fingers there is nothing at work that needs the bottom of the totem pole’s attention, crappy DIY haircuts and manicures, Four Seas ice cream every night, (wine every night too), tan skin spotted with giant red mosquito bites, jigsaw puzzling, corn on the cob, remembering our childhood summers spent here, and cranking the rumor mill about various extended family members.
